There’s a beer made in New Zealand, by garage project, called Beer. The cans look very similar to those products.

Thanks of reminding me of the awesome premise of the Oldest House.

Well, this is the first time I’m hearing about a Control show. That being said… I have little hope for it. I feel like somethings should just remain games. Not everything needs to be translated to another form of media and I don’t see Control being able to pull off the same level of awe and wonder in a show that it does in a game.

          Now the sequel…

The track record is getting good, though. Fallout and Last of Us nailed it. Cyberpunk and Arcane were pretty awesome, too. Maybe they’ve figured out the formula

Last of Us, Cyberpunk and Arcane are nowhere on my radar of shows that I plan on ever watching so I can’t speak to those. Don’t have anything against it. Just doesn’t spark any interest. Fallout I’ve been meaning to watch for a while but just keep autistically shrinking back into Star Trek lmao

You should watch Arcane for a lot of reason, but just the visual and art is enough in itself.

At the very least watch Cyberpunk. It’s magnificent. But I think it helps that the setting and themes have never just been gaming-centric and the show isn’t actually based on the most recent game.

Really? I heard such good things about uniglo, but was a little dissapointed when i went in. It seemed to be all shades of white and grey, black, and some greenish earth tones. Not saying i didnt buy a couple things cause they do have some nice stuff, and basics for work or simple wardrobe.

But you like them for color variety? Ill hafta look around more next time.

Probably need to post your country/region. Many of the better online stores are regional.

For Germany, grundstoff.net has a good selection. They seem to ship all over Europe, but the webpage is only German…

In Germany the leading drugstore chain does this with their brand aimed at Men. (See link).

    https://www.dm.de/marken/seinz

They also noticed that they don’t like walking through the whole store, so they put every product for men in one aisle directly next to the checkout.

Norwegian and Danish grocery store “Rema 1000” has their own store brand that’s very minimalistic: https://shop.rema1000.dk/?filters=rema1000
It’s just the text saying what it is and a little picture and not much else.
I wouldn’t be surprised if this is pretty normal outside USA.

It’s exactly what you think, it’s a word that’s stuck around for imported good from “the colonies”. But to be fair, if you live in Denmark it doesn’t take a lot for something to be exotic.

Yeah, I noticed. There’s rice and asian cuisine, but also there’s “digestives”, the british biscuits. And both popcorn and regular canned corn. A very broad selection.
