Is that illegal? I mean, why are we even hearing about this? Is there someone at TSA that opens the airport PA, taps the mike a few times and goes “passengers, you guys: you’re not going to believe how many pairs of underwear we found in this guy’s luggage.”

I’m guessing they’re often looking out for powdered substances shoved up peoples asses. This time it just happened to be powdered dead guy and not cocaine

I get that, but isn’t it still a bit weird that instead of apologizing privately and letting her be on her way, an article is put up with a photo of her and her boyfriend?

Is this just an AI tabloid story to keep us entertained?

Here is the actual article. Reading it, unfortunately, makes it sound as though she does this for attention and social media. https://metro.co.uk/2022/11/11/woman-wearing-butt-plug-with-boyfriends-ashes-stopped-in-airport-17735311/

Okay that makes sense now, thanks! TSA was actually the innocent bystander in all this.

Sort of the kink version of ‘suicide by cop.’

I did not realize so many people had their loved ones’ ashes turned into butt plugs, much less wearing them through airport security.

I understand that it sounds ridiculous at face value, but it’s a health and safety issue.

You can check ashes (provided it is declared), but you cannot bring human (or any animal for that matter) remains into the cabin.

Bone dust can definitely be a respiratory issue so it makes sense.

Cremation remains are mostly just ground up bone fragments.
