Music, movies, tv shows, podcasts, comediens.
Adding to the question, keep an eye out for any songs by Canadian artists! We can submit the best ones in the next !lemmyvision@jlai.lu
I suggest commedien Big Daddy Tazz.
Trailer park boys, letterkenny and travelers are all canadian shows.
Schitts Creek and Kim’s Convenience! And Baronness Von Sketch.
Add Shoresy to that list! And Corner Gas!
not canadian, but have enjoyed The Frantics, Red Green, Labatt’s and your lumber is top notch
Labatt’s isn’t Canadian. Not anymore. Owned by Anheuser-Busch, US-Belgian-Brazilian multinational drink and brewing company based in Leuven, Belgium
Drink local craft beer instead!
Kids in the hall
That was such an awesome show. Chicken Lady still freaks me out.
Not new, but Orphan Black
More small scale but LoadingReadyRun for MTG or gaming stuff is good.
LRR is worth supporting no matter your nationality. They’re great.

Always the classic The Kids in the Hall.
The Walrus, an independent magazine with long forum journalistic stories. https://thewalrus.ca/
Canadian news is in danger. Our sources are primarily owned by right-wing Americans. We need to protect CBC and publications like the Walrus.
Also Canadaland
For TV there’s Murdoch Mysteries.
For music I could go on for a long time!
For rock there’s Billy Talent, The Beaches, Alexisonfire, Tokyo Police Club, City and Colour, Arcade Fire, Arkells, Barenaked Ladies, Metric, Hotel Mira, Mother Mother, Sum 41, The Trews, The Strumbellas, The Zolas. That’s just what I can see in my CD collection. For electronic music there’s Deadmau5 but he’s well known already.
For authentic Canadian, you simply have to crack open a two-four of Labatts while watching the kids in the hall with The Tragically Hip playing softly on the stereo in the background. (we miss you Gordie)
