Blame it on people saying now is not the time if you want, but the other reason there’s no resistance is people saying, “We should start a resistance,” and not starting one. Seems like people are waiting for somebody to put revolution in front of them as an option they can click on.

That’s not a revolution, it’s a riot. People get very bold when they’ve got the cover of a crowd.

Revolutionaries have a much bigger job. They’re trying to mobilize a durable coalition of working people. And plenty of people try to chase that dream. Most just fail. And who can blame them? It’s an arduous exhausting dream to pursue, and not very glamourous, particularly at the start.

Have a bit of grace. Not everyone is blessed with the knowledge, the talent, and the opportunity to pioneer an economy shifting revolution.

When does a cell realize it’s part of a larger body? Does the cell owe the body, or does the body owe the cell? Are we becoming cells of a larger body? Sometimes I think so

When the body detects an ill cell, it purges it as soon as possible to prevent larger cascade failures. Sickness are body process iregularities caused by one or more contingencies failing.

Something had to have worked before, that we started noticing it is effecting us now. That applies to society especially.

So, funny story about that funny story…

The CIA covertly funded and helped produce the 1954 animated film adaptation of George Orwell’s Animal Farm. As a Cold War propaganda tool, the agency bought the rights from Orwell’s widow, hired a British studio to hide U.S. involvement, and changed the story’s ending to promote an anti-communist message.

They’re all cowards! Why, if I was in that line, I’d charge right at the farmer. If they don’t fight unilaterally or successfully convince the other sheep, then they deserve to be butchered. 🇪🇺

Always so quick to advocate for violence and unrest in someone else’s country.

I’m assuming you’re not Americans, because, if you were, surely we’d be hearing about your heroic violence on the news right now.

You’re subjected to violence every day by our government, the entire oligarchy of Democrats and Republicans. You sit back and accept it. But when our own working class advocates for collectivism to fight against that government, liberals always try to talk it down. The biggest obstacles to progress have always been Democrats.

I have almost reached the regrettable conclusion that the Negro’s great stumbling block in his stride toward freedom is not the White Citizen’s Counciler or the Ku Klux Klanner, but the white moderate, who is more devoted to “order” than to justice; who prefers a negative peace which is the absence of tension to a positive peace which is the presence of justice; who constantly says: “I agree with you in the goal you seek, but I cannot agree with your methods of direct action”; who paternalistically believes he can set the timetable for another man’s freedom; who lives by a mythical concept of time and who constantly advises the Negro to wait for a “more convenient season.” Shallow understanding from people of good will is more frustrating than absolute misunderstanding from people of ill will. Lukewarm acceptance is much more bewildering than outright rejection.
