Sadly I can probably magat-splain this: the deep state got the orange blob convicted, and he’s only been in office a few months, which isn’t enough time to oust all the “rats” from office yet.

Their evidence: a photoshopped image with Calibri typeface on his knuckles. It’s like they weren’t even trying.

The photo is stupid as hell, but saying they’re claiming the obviously added text ‘M S 1 3’ is what was actually tattooed on his hand is intentionally disingenuous.

It’s obviously an annotation to show what they think the symbols that are tattooed on those fingers mean.

Argue about the symbols and their meaning all you want; but please stop bringing up the added typeface like it has any sort of useful meaning in these conversations. It’s literally just subtitles.

The whole thing absolutely ridiculous; regardless of their meaning, it’s an incredibly flimsy reason to link him to gang activities and suspend due process.

I’m just annoyed at all the people and various news articles failing to talk about that and instead scream things like “Internet Sleuths determine image was photoshopped!!!” and go on about how the font means its fake, because somebody clearly opened it in MS Paint and added some shitty annotations before having Trump pose with the printout

The additions to the image were made without context. If they meant subtitles as an interpretation of what they meant, they should say so. Otherwise it is unclear.

Why argue about the symbols? The more important point is violating human rights by a lack of due process. He is innocent until proven guilty and there’s no legal value in posting a photo online

They claim that the various tattoos he had, like that skull and shit, are all various symbols that denote MS13.

Never mind that one of the MOST KNOWN THINGS about MS-13 is that they’re famous for tattooing EXACTLY THAT across their entire bodies, flamboyantly.

          Yeah, never explained.

Someone offered up the alternative: Weed Dead (the face has Xs for eyes) 4 points on a cross 0 Because if a skull can mean ‘3’ it can mean 0 too?

          WD40

But either way, if this guy doesn’t get a hearing, then how can any of us be assured we could also get a hearing? Maybe he gets deported, maybe he’s problematic, but we have to be giving people hearings.

So Biden could’ve just said “Trump is an illegal immigrant” and sent him to a death camp?

“You’re not a citizen, so you aren’t entitled to due process”

      “Yes I am”

“Huh, how are you going to correct me without due process? Have fun in forever prison! Goodbye!”

Ask them to prove they’re a citizen. Driver’s licenses don’t count. Being white doesn’t count (could be Russian).

No, don’t ask them. They get no chance to challenge your assertion at all. That’s the point. That’s what no due process gives you. That is what they are claiming is right and just and the law. The government says “trust us bro, this guy is an illegal alien terrorist and deserves this” and then they disappear you forever, no questions allowed to be asked. You go from arrested for absolutely anything at all to the gulag with nothing in between those two steps.

This idiot thinks that that couldn’t apply to himself, to other citizens, to his parents, his spouse, his kids… he is wrong. If they do not give you even a second in court, there is absolutely nothing you or anyone else can do to stop it. It can happen to citizens. It will. Hell, it probably already has. The only thing that may be stopping it at the moment is the willingness by the administration to do so. The one that has openly, publically and repeatedly expressed that they absolutely want to and are willing to deport citizens to foreign forever prisons, as well. He thinks these are the guys that can be trusted to not target citizens. He is a fool.

That’s partly my point; just getting them to realize how easy it is to make the assertion. Ideally, you’d make the claim to someone that’s white/MAGA, just to get them to scoff at the statement and say “Sure, I’m a citizen! It says so right…hold on…”

If someone’s psychotically self-protective and carries their passport in their back pocket, they can deflect the argument. If they can’t produce it on the spot, start mockingly shouting for ICE. See how quickly they fall back on white privilege.

How? The us citizens have no consistent and reliable way to do so.

A birth certificate does not guarantee citizenship as it could have been renounced, social security numbers are granted to temporary workers and immigrants, and passports are not mandatory or encouraged by government.

If you are a natural born citizen who was stopped by law enforcement walking down the street today how would you prove you are a citizen right then and there?

How would you be able to actually prove you are a citizen without discovery of government records in a court of law?

When applying for a passport in the US, you must provide a birth certificate that meets many qualifications, that brith certificate is then cross referenced and verified. If you don’t have it you have to do a lengthy file request process, a cross referenced birth certificate is the only way you can prove you are a natural born citizen, and that can’t be accomplished on the side of the street.

In which case, this is how anyone can be deported without due process:

      1. Don’t acknowledge their citizenship
      2. Send them to offshore prison
      3. Oops, mistakes happen. Too late to rectify. It’s their fault for not looking like a citizen anyway.

When was the last time you heard a conservative speak out in defense of due process?

I mean, for someone other than themselves or someone they like.
