If this dork were a REAL capitalist he’d know that money flows to where it is utilized most efficiently. Lesser enterprises are best killed off. Charming small businesses are for the weak!

it’ll never cease to be hilariously ironic that conservatives love to call others naïve, as they themselves fail to realize that people will tell blatant lies in order to get votes

It’s all projection. Poorly educated people cannot comprehend that people smarter than them exist.

Anyone who think they are smarter must be an idiot and must be more naive than a them to believe they are actually smarter.

While I agree, education and intelligence are not equivalent. Be careful when calling well-educated people “smart”

I use poorly educated to mean people who do not pick up the education skills to keep themselves educated.

One can graduate from an Ivy League and be poorly educated, we’ve had presidents that prove this to be the case.

There is a difference between being given and education and becoming educated. One can become educated by sheer personal will as well as reject education despite all external efforts.

            Good does not equal well.

            Bad does not equal poor.

It’s a genuine mistake (/s), they thought that pro-business/anti-regulations would help their small business.

As with everything, they lied. It’s about billionaires making more billions, at the expense of EVERYONE else - workers, but also other businesses. I’m convinced that all the rest, including the racism, xenophobia, transphobia, misogyny and overall bigotry are just tools to convince people to act against their own interests.

people picked wealth over human rights and healthcare.

Let’s not pretend that either human rights or healthcare were on the ballot in 2024.

The republicans came within a vote of defunding Obamacare in 2018 and have talked about kicking out immigrants for a generation. To say that neither of those things were on the ballot is incredibly naive.

Sorry, I thought you meant universal healthcare, not a half measure from a decade and a half ago.

Democrats already adopted republican border policy last year.

Neither was on the ballot. Neither candidate wanted universal healthcare, and neither was going to protect civil rights.

I actually really like seeing these.

You dumbs fucks did this to yourselves, the unfortunate part is that they were not smart enough to understand what was really happening and what was going to happen.

The unfortunate part is all the misery they will cause for the good people (and I don’t mean one political party or another).

The enshittification of the world (which has been happening for a while) is picking up speed because of these dumb fucks.

I mean, they will pay them. And then charge more for product to cover the additional cost. It’s a lot easier to tolerate that in the short term if you’re bigger.

I find it amusing they though they’d be safe from the increased tariffs under a de minimis limit. That’s a thing that could have happened, but that tends to benefit small purchasers over large ones which is the opposite of GOP thinking and is also no something Trump et al had ever mentioned, so I don’t know why they would expect it?

For anyone that doesn’t know, de minimis is a tariff exception for small purchases, basically that it’s not worth the administrative cost of levying the tariff for fiddling small change, so if it’s a small enough shipment they won’t bother.

If you thought Trump was ever going to help you or keep his word on anything, you are just aggressively, ferociously stupid. You knew EXACTLY what he was and was warned 1000 times what he was. You got told.
